RVCP "Shoreline Supporters"

 "Shoreline" is the RVCP's classification for people who wish to
 support the vital work carried out by the dedicated volunteers but who
 do not have the opportunity to contribute their time to this service.

 For a yearly subscription of just $36 for a single supporter, or $50 for a
 family, you will be helping to ensure that the RVCP Lifeboats are
 always ready when they are needed.

 There are 25 RVCP Lifeboat stations along the coastline of NSW and
 the RVCP, a registered charity, depends largely on voluntary
 contributions to keep the Lifeboats afloat. It costs the Broken Bay
 Division alone about $1000 a week to run and maintain its Base and
 Lifeboats.

 The Patrol is regularly called upon to assist the Water Police, NSW
 Maritime Authority, SES, Royal Australian Navy and Royal Australian
 Army. The Patrol is the only volunteer rescue organisation authorised
 to fly the Water Police "Nemesis" pennant and is granted the honour of
 wearing the NSW State Government flag.

 In addition to search, rescue and education activities, the Coastal
 Patrol provides rescue crews, safety boats and expertise in crowd
 control to assist in the running of special events such as the Sydney-to-
 Hobart yacht race, New Year celebrations and many other events of
 this type.

  • As a "Shoreline Supporter" you will receive a free car sticker for you to 'fly the flag' for our Lifeboat crews everywhere you go.

 As a responsible citizen, you will, hopefully, never need to call on the
 services of the RVCP Lifeboat crews but, if you ever did find yourself
 in trouble at sea, you'd be very glad to see them.
